The hotel rooms were good-sized, clean, and comfortable, although a bit of a strange smell lingered. The service was helpful and friendly, especially when our son was sick, and available both in the morning and late in the evening. The location, while close to the sights and offering good views, was a little inconvenient for walking to town. The dining experience was not the best, with some cold ingredients, but options were available at the hotel. Overall, a place with clean, comfortable rooms and friendly staff.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a radiator to dry my clothes, but they were not made up during my 2-night stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially after 7 pm. The location was convenient with breathtaking views of Mount Cook but a bit far from the town center. The dining options were available but seemed pricey. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
